Know Your Skills: 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Do you have the skills employers are seeking in candidates? Learn what skills employers have identified as important in today’s workforce and  how you can use on-campus activities to develop those skills

Dates: Jan. 20, Feb. 3 & 24, Mar. 3, 17, & 24, Apr. 7, 14 & 21

Résumé Development & Internship Search: 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Learn to tell your story and communicate your skills to potential employers. Students will use Resume Builder to develop a resume. This program will provide students with résumé strategies that will make you stand out in this current job market.  Students will also learn internship search strategies.

Dates: Jan. 21, Feb. 4, 11 & 25, Mar. 4, 18, & 25, Apr. 8, 15 & 22

Networking 101: 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Do you use social networking for your internship search? Discover how networking can open the doors of opportunity for you. Show up, get tips, and learn how to leverage social media to make valuable connections with employers, alumni, and other potential connections. You might be surprised to find out how you network naturally every day.

Dates: Jan. 20, 21, 27 & 28, Feb. 3 & 4, Mar. 5, 19


Interview Preparation: 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

In this fun and interactive session, students will learn from bloopers and blunders on what not to do during an interview. Learn about the different types and platforms of interviewing, how to analyze a job description, practice the STAR approach to interviewing, and write and practice a 30-second introduction speech.

Dates: Jan. 22, Feb. 5, 12, 19, & 26  

Success During The Internship: 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

You were offered the job, now what? Students will be provided steps on how to prepare for an internship and what to do once it is over. Learn how to start and end your internship by establishing a great professional impression.

Dates: Apr. 9, 16 & 23
