Spring 2012 Group Fitness Classes Descriptions

AGT (ABS, GLUTES, AND THIGHS)
A strength and conditioning session focusing on the lower body. Utilizes a variety of fitness tools and personal body weight to provide fun and unique ways to tone the abs, glutes, and thighs.

BELLY DANCING

Slide, sway, shimmy, and sweat in this core - intensive, creative, and fun introduction to Belly Dance! No previous dance experience is necessary.

BODYCOMBAT™
An empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi, and Muay Thai. Supported by driving music, strike, punch, kick, and kata your way to superior cardio fitness.

BOOTCAMP
This mixture of traditional calisthenics and body weight exercises with interval and strength training will take your body to its limits and leave you wanting more.

CYCLE
Journey to better health and improved fitness in this stationary biking experience. Focus on your own success at your own level.

HARD CORE
A 30-minute class focused on developing the strength andawareness of the core abdominal and lower back muscles.

HIP HOP HUSTLE™
This class takes the fun factor up a notch with super hot moves that will have everyone wanting more! No experience needed!

20/20/20
Three formats in one class give you the ultimate cardiovascular and strength training workout! Any combination is possible: Circuit Training, Step, Pilates, Kickboxing, Strength Training, etc. Three formats for 20 minutes each.

PILATES
Lengthen and strengthen the entire body while focusing on your core.

SCULPT AND STRETCH
Develop both strength and flexibility with basic toning exercises and a complete body stretch.

TBC (TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING)

Strengthen and define your entire body in this complete upper and lower-body workout.

TRIM & FIT
Combine interval and strength training for a workout that challenges both cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Let’s all commit to a Trim & Fit spring semester!

YOGA
Challenge and connect your mind and body with yoga poses, conscious breathing, and relaxation techniques.

ZUMBA™
A fusion of Latin dance & fitness. Ditch the workout, join the party!
