The Certificate of Learning and Leadership in the Workplace, offered by Campus Recreation (CR), allows student employees the opportunity to enhance their skills and learn new competencies to be an effective leader in the workplace. No matter what field of interest, completing the requirements of this certificate will give you the knowledge, skills, and awareness you need to succeed and lead in the workplace. The program is available fall and spring semesters.

Identify common myths about what leadership is and is not.
Identify ways to better understand who they are as a leader.
Understand different strategies to enact their leadership in the world.
Prepare themselves to take action steps to be ready for the business world.
Complete a project or task on their own to start their leadership journey.

Requirements Checklist – At the conclusion of the leadership program, you must complete a reflective artifact (reflect and answer specific questions, in writing) where you highlight what you learned about leadership and yourself. Specific questions will be provided for you to answer.
