My name is Sharita Corbin and I am the Assistant Vice-President of Seasonal Events. I am a senior Nursing major with a minor in Gerontology. I came to NIU in 2006 as a transfer student. Coming from a small HBCU to NIU was a big transition. I was determined to leave my mark at NIU. I am involved in several student organizations, one of which is Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where I serve as Vice-President. If you don’t catch me at the library, you will definitely see me around at various campus events.
