Tutoring Services

CAAR does not provide tutoring. CAAR coordinators will refer students to the appropriate tutoring services available on campus.

1. Contacting the instructor should be your first step! Instructors are often willing to work with students, provide suggestions for success, and refer you to appropriate tutoring on campus.
2. Contact a CAAR coordinator. The coordinators are available to provide the following: - suggestions for appropriate learning strategies and effective study skills. - suggestions and referral to other available tutoring services both on-and-off campus - training and support to NIU faculty, staff, tutors and students - assistance with employing your own tutors
