YELLOW EXAM ACCOMMODATION FORMS FOR FINAL EXAMS MUST BE TURNED IN BY:
Wednesday, May 7 for Sat. May 10 and Monday May 11 exams
Thursday, May 8 for Tues. May 12 through Friday May 16 exams
Please put these dates on your calendars and do not forget them! The number of final exams given during finals week necessitates these deadlines.
CAAR will be using Room 16 in the Health Service Bldg. from 8:00 - 5:00, Monday through Friday of exam week. Students who do not need special equipment will probably take exams there. When you turn in your yellow accommodation forms, you will be notified where to report for your exam. If you forget or have questions come to the CAAR floor and we will send you to the appropriate place.
CAAR Office Hours - The CAAR office will be open during Finals Week at 8:00 a.m. When necessary, the office will stay open until 9:00 p.m. during that week. (Please note that after 4:30, CAAR will only be open to take exams, not for other business.
Schedule your exams with CAAR when you know the dates and times of your exams. Be sure to identify, verbally and on the exam sheet, any special equipment or computers you will need for each exam. Remember, your exam time needs to overlap the time the class takes it, and you will not be allowed to leave the testing area until after the class begins the exam (unless teachers give written permission).
Instructors continue to complain that they are not getting the forms early enough to plan. Don’t wait until the last minute to have the instructors fill out the form.
If you are late for an exam time, you will lose that amount of time. If you arrive after the time the class begins the exam, a note will be sent to the teacher stating that fact.
