Students who are enrolled for courses which require their absence from the NIU DeKalb campus for the entire semester may be eligible to receive a reduction of on-campus general student fees. The reduction of fees include the activity fee, athletics fee, and services fee.
To qualify, students must fulfill ALL of the below specifications:
Request for Partial Reduction of Fees Form (pdf) must be turned in to the Bursar’s Office within the first 15 calendar days of the term beginning with the first regularly scheduled class day (5 days for Summer Session).Note: If a late payment fee has been applied to the student's financial account before any reduction has occurred, then the late payment fee will be reduced.
