NAGA, carved wood, lacquered and gilded, with mirror inlay. Burmese dragon (serpent) head, probably part of a complete Naga. Some tin in flourishments covered with lacquer. Used extensively as a decorative theme. Head and neck of naga carved out of wood, lacquered and gilded and inlayed with mirror or glass inlay. Probably originally from a pagoda as decoration on building. Ferocious open mouth with teeth and tongue. Under chin and body is undecorated and plain.
