Silver oval box. Burmese, secular, household box for lime used for betel nut chewing. Inscribed on base: Baw Tha 1306" - meaning Silver, 1306 (B.E.). (Trans. by U Saw Tun, 2/2/91)." 1944/45 a.d. Used to contain lime for betel nut chewing. (traces of white powder in the interior).
