Scheduled Blackboard Outage - Sunday, 8/14/2011, 8PM to Monday, 8/15/2011, 12AM

A minor upgrade is scheduled to be performed to the Blackboard Learn System, beginning at 8 AM on Sunday, August 14th, 2011. Blackboard is scheduled to be available at 12 AM on Monday, August 15th, 2011.

The upgrade from 9.1 SP5 to 9.1 SP6, will deliver a set of bug fixes and will improve on a number of existing features. Some of the enhancements include:

• Needs Grading tool now includes a larger set of gradable items.
• Timed Assessments now allow for automatic submission when timer expires.
• New Interactive Rubrics tool.
• Added browser support for Google Chrome, Firefox 4.0, and IE 9.
