Packaged Files
I need to upload an Articulate lecture to Blackboard. How do I upload and unpackage an Articulate lecture?
In Blackboard 9, uploading an Articulate file is a two-part process. First, files must be uploaded to Course Content or to the Content Collection. Then, the file can be added to a content area.
Upload the file
- From the Control Panel, click the right-facing Action Link next to Content Collection
- Click the Create Folder button. It is important to create a folder for each of your Articulate packages since every Articulate presentation uses the same file, player.html, to launch the presentation
- Name the new folder with the same name as your Articulate presentation and click the Submit button (this is not required, but will help you organize your Articulate packages)
- Click on the new folder to enter it
- Click Upload and select Upload Package
- Browse for the package (.zip) file and click the Submit button
Add the file to a conent area
- In the Course Menu, click on the content area where you would like students to access the Articulate presentation, such as Content
- Under Build Content, click Item
- Give the presentation a name
- If desired, type a description in the Text box
- Next to Attach File, click the Browse Content Collection button
- In the new window, click on the folder that corresponds to the Articulate presentation (the folder created when uploading the .zip file)
- Select player.html
- Click the Submit button
- If desired, change the Link Title
- Select the desired options and click the Submit button
