director of the anatomy laboratory, distinguished teaching award, coordinator of high school short-course in anatomy

As the director of the anatomy laboratory, I guide the procurement, care, and disposal of all human anatomical material donated to NIU through our willed body program.  I am the instructor of record, or assist, in all of our cadaver-based courses.  Within the Human Anatomical Sciences (HAS) M.S. graduate program, I am actively involved in teaching courses and directing graduate student teaching projects.  Each Spring semester, I coordinate and direct our outreach program, which offers a one-day course in cadaver-based human anatomy to area high school students.
