Q. What is your focus of research? Northern Ireland, Parades

Q.Why did you choose NIU? I liked the program and the professors.

Q. Who is your advisor? Why did you choose to work with this professor? Dr. Ledgerwood is my advisor because my thesis looks at violence in Northern Ilreland she taught a class on violence last spring, so she was willing to work with me. I'm very excited. She's a great advisor. I'm also working Dr. Farrell in the Hisotry department because he specializes in Ireland.

Q. What advice would you like to share with incoming students? Don't be afraid to talk to your TA's and professors. They are more than willing to help you with any problems you may have!
