| This tutorial can be viewed completely online using a Java-enabled Internet Explorer browser. The tutorial may take approximately an hour to review the content and complete the activities fully, depending on one's background, Web navigation skills, and the type of access to the Web. The tutorial does not record any data about individual users or their quiz scores. To obtain a Certificate of Completion, the tutorial must be completed in one session. |
To Begin
To begin the tutorial, click on the "Get Started" button and follow the navigation options provided on the top of the screen or at the bottom of content sections as necessary. Make sure to disable any pop-up blockers before beginning. To navigate the content sections of the tutorial, click on the navigation arrow buttons (  ) and view the content screens. The screens can be resized by moving the mouse cursor over the edge of the screens and clicking and holding the resizing arrows displayed. |

Quizzes
A quiz is available after viewing each section of the tutorial. To take a quiz, navigate the quizzes, click on the hyperlinked quiz number to take a particular quiz and then click on the appropriate response and Submit button for each question on a quiz. |

Games
To navigate the games, click on the hyperlinked game number to play a particular game and follow the instructions included with each game. Links for downloading the appropriate plug-in or players have been included with each game. |

Cases
To navigate the cases found in section 6, click on the hyperlinked case number to view the particular case scenario and explore its various possibilities. |

Certificate of Completion
To obtain a Certificate of Completion, complete 70% of the quiz questions correctly and enter your name and department or institution name for the prompts displayed on the View Scores page and click Submit. After clicking the Submit button, the website will display the certificate, which can be printed. The certificate will not include quiz scores but will include date of completion. The quiz scores displayed separately can be printed also. The Certificate of Completion cannot be printed after the tutorial has been exited. If a user could not complete 70% of the quiz questions correctly, the particular quizzes can be retaken in the same session after reviewing the necessary content sections. Otherwise, the quizzes can be taken in their entirety in another session. For more information, check the Certificate of Completion page of the tutorial. |

Exit
To exit the tutorial, click on the "Exit Tutorial" button at the end of each section of the tutorial or click on the X button on the top right corner of the main page of the tutorial, and close the Web browser fully. |
