Electives taken as necessary - 120 credit hours needed for graduation.
Articulating MLT students are granted up to 11 credit hours in the first year professional category and up to 16 hours of AHLS 470 credits.
Students who begin at NIU without either the AA or AS degree may have to complete additional general education courses.
*CHEM 110 should be completed before beginning CHEM 210T if the student has a weak background in chemistry.
** The program requires the completion of either BIOS 208T/210 and 209T/211 or BIOS 104. Students are strongly advised to complete BIOS 208T/210 and 209T/211 whenever possible. Please discuss with your academic advisor.
***Articulating CLTs/MLTs receive 1 credit hour for technical experience and are not required to take the laboratory component of this course. Students who wish to take the laboratory may do so by enrolling for the higher number of credit hours.
