The 2009 NIU Au.D. Alumni Advisory Board

In September, 2007, an alumni advisory board was formed, consisting of prominent audiologists in Illinois and three other states.  This Board meets annually with mid-year follow-up, and provides critical and valuable input into the program’s future development.

MA - Class of 1991

Clinical Audiologist

"NIU prepared me well for my work as an Audiologist in an ENT department. After taking time off to raise my family, I decided to return to NIU and audit the Amplification course to receive some hands-on review and instruction in what had changed in the field. Returning to NIU has been an enjoyable experience. The new clinic is stocked with the latest equipment and the students are hands-on as much as permissable right away. The program provides students with a foundation that will allow them to work in any setting they chose with confidence."
