STATUS: We are now accepting applications for Fall, 2010 admission
The School of Allied Health and Communicative Disorders has a limited number of Graduate Assistantships available. Graduate assistantships provide a full-tuition waiver as well as a stipend for 10 hours of work per week (assignments will be made by the School). General fees and course fees are the responsibility of the student. Interested applicants need to submit an application to the School of Allied Health and Communicative Disorders. *Note that graduate assistantships may be available in other schools or departments. Students are encouraged to seek out these opportunities.

Once students decide that they want to earn their Au.D. degree at NIU, they need to submit their decision through MyNIU as well as notify the School of their decision by April 15.
Students who plan to enroll in the Au.D. program will receive a packet of information in the summer prior to their enrollment. This packet will have information regarding fall registration, health requirements, and general information of the program and DeKalb area. Students are also encouraged to use visit the Resources link for more information.
International students are required to obtain additional documentation prior to enrollment. Visit the International Student website to access the resources for international students who are planning to attend graduate school at NIU.
Students receiving financial awards need to verify that all necessary paperwork is submitted to the School office prior to the start of the fall semester.
