Congratulations on Your Admission to NIU!

You and your family are invited to join us for a Freshman Admitted Student Day program -- a comprehensive campus visit designed specifically for newly admitted freshmen. It's an excellent opportunity to explore NIU and learn about our programs, activities, and services. Discover what it's like to be a Huskie!

During this special "Welcome to NIU" event you can:

  • Get to know our academic programs
  • Explore Huskie life – information about housing, orientation, and more
  • Meet with NIU faculty, current students, and staff
  • Talk with financial aid counselors
  • Tour campus and residence halls
