Limited Admission Programs Transfer Course Equivalencies
- Admissions to the "Limited Admissions" or "Limited Retention" programs are based on meeting additional criteria.
- Programs may also have specific application deadlines.
- Students may be classified as "pre-majors" until they have satisfied addtional requirements which may include specific course work, minimum grade point averages, supplementary documents, and sophomore or junior standing.
- If you are attending an institution not listed, then choose any guide to see what are the necessary NIU requirements to apply to the major.
Select your community college, click on the major appearing under your college, then print the transfer major guide. The course equivalency files are in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). To view the files you need to download Acrobat Reader from Adobe's website, and install it on your computer.
