Transfer Confirmation
of Expected Attendance

  • Initial admission of all transfer students for the spring, summer, and fall semester is based on a preliminary review of potential transferable courses earned and cumulative GPA.
  • A complete evaluation of all transfer coursework will be performed upon confirmation notification of the student’s intention to enroll at NIU.
  • Evaluations will be prioritized by the date confirmations are received (allow 4-6 weeks processing times may vary).

Confirmation of Expected Attendance for Summer 2008

  • Confirm intention to enroll for Summer 2008 as quickly as possible.
  • To confirm your intention to enroll, you may:
    • send in the “Confirmation of Expected Attendance” card that accompanies the admission letter, or
    • notify the Office of Admissions Transfer Center by phone at (815) 753-0446, or
    • e-mail to transfercenter@niu.edu.
  • Students who do not notify the admissions office of their intention to enroll may forfeit their seat in the summer 2008 transfer class.
  • Confirmations received will be honored on a space available basis.
  • Please use the postage paid envelope provided or contact the admissions office directly. There is no confirmation fee required.

  • Confirm intention to enroll for Fall 2008 as quickly as possible.
  • Students who do not notify the admissions office of their intention to enroll may forfeit their seat in the fall 2008 transfer class.

  • Then go to MyNIU and confirm intent to enroll.
