If you are unable to complete the application in one session you will be required to start over. Additionally, we recommend that you take your time to fill out your application; however inactivity for 20 minutes or more will require you to start over.

A $30 non-refundable application fee payable will be required to process this application (Visa and MasterCard are accepted). Once you have successfully submitted the application a confirmation page will appear that will provide you with the address of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions as well as other important information. Please print a copy of this page for your records. If you are a freshman applicant, please print an additional copy of this page for your high school counselor.

To be considered for an application fee waiver, you must be currently enrolled in high school and submit an NIU Application Fee Waiver Form (.pdf) or a letter from your high school counselor or social worker describing your economic circumstances.
