Undergraduate Admissions

Academic Advising, Orientation
and Registration

All students must attend an orientation program and receive academic advising to be eligible to register for classes. Orientation information will be sent in early March to new transfers and in early April to new freshmen. (Students admitted after the initial mailing should receive orientation information approximately two weeks after admission.)

Orientation takes place in April for transfers and in June, July, and August for freshmen, transfers, and other students.

Students will be able to register for classes after attending an orientation session and meeting with an academic adviser.

Nondegree students and visiting students are not required to attend orientation and academic advising.
