Applicant Screening

Applications are evaluated on job related qualifications (required/desired/preferred) as listed in position announcement, job-relatedness.  The search committee independently evaluates applications then meets to discuss qualified applicants to develop list for on-campus interviews.

  • Complete Application Evaluation via PeopleAdmin
  • Search Committee meets to discuss qualified applicants

Pre-Screen Methods

  • Conduct Telephone Interviews
  • Skype/Collaborate Interviews
  • On-Site Interviews at Conferences/Conventions
  • Reference Checks
  • Avoid Google searches
