Leadership Exchange
Students will meet with other international students attending one of three world-class universities in Beijing, China. Students will have a chance to tour two additional universities.
Universities we will be visiting:
Peking University
Peking University was established in 1898. Today, Peking University is a key, national, comprehensive university. It is also a university of a new type, embracing diverse branches of learning such as basic and applied sciences, social sciences and the humanities, and sciences of medicine, management, and education. Its aim is to one day rank among the world's best universities.
Tsinghua University
Tsinghua University was established in 1911. As a world-class university, Tsinghua University, a multidisciplinary, polytechnic university, was reputed as “a cradle of engineers” because of with its emphasis on training engineers. Now Tsinghua is a leading comprehensive research university with 14 colleges and 54 department, offering disciplines in science fields, engineering, the humanities, arts, history, philosophy, economics, management, law, education and medicine.
Beijing Normal University
Beijing Normal University has a rich history of more than 100 years and is a renowned institution of higher learning, emphasizing teacher education and programs in both the arts and sciences.

June 19: Afternoon volunteer activity
June 20: Visit Beijing Normal University
June 21: Visit Peking University
June 22: Visit Tsinghua University
June 23: Free Day
June 24: Visit Great Wall, Ba Da ling section, afternoon visit Ming Dynasty Tombs
June 25: Visit Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and Temple of Heaven
June 26: Visit Summer Palace, Panda House, Lama Temple, and Beijing National Stadium
June 27: Visit Hutong by Pedicab, Beijing City Planning Museum, after dinner enjoy Chinese Acrobatic Show
June 28: Free Day
June 29: Morning free till transfer to airport and end of service
June 30: Extra day if needed for travel
