Health Services sees patients primarily by appointment. A Triage Nurse is available for phone calls and walk-ins, but scheduling an appointment in advance is recommended.

Health Services is available to all registered students who have been assessed on-campus tuition and fees. You may use Health Services whether or not you are enrolled in the NIU Student Health Insurance Plan. Please see Health Services for more information about services and fees.

You can schedule an appointment by calling 815-306-2777 or by simply going to the Health Services front desk to talk with a scheduler.

Health Services is located at 385 Wirtz Drive in DeKalb, across from Wirtz Hall.

Hours

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Closed: Saturday, Sunday and university holidays

Most Preventive Medicine services (flu shots and other immunizations) are available on a walk-in basis, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
