MEDIA ALERT
NIU announces Spring Commencement
DeKalb, Ill. — Northern Illinois University will hold commencement Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9, at the university’s Convocation Center in DeKalb. The media are welcome to attend and cover these ceremonies.
NIU COMMENCEMENT SCHEDULE
Friday, May 8
Graduate Ceremony
- 7 p.m.
Graduate School ceremony combining doctoral, masters and performer’s certificate candidates
Saturday, May 9
Undergraduate Ceremonies
- Ceremony One – 9 a.m.
College of Liberal Arts and Sciences - Ceremony Two – 1:30 p.m.
College of Business
College of Engineering and Engineering Technology
College of Visual and Performing Arts - Ceremony Three – 5:30 p.m.
College of Education
College of Health and Human Sciences
