DEKALB, Ill—The NIU Executive Club will hold its Sixth Annual Endowed Scholarship Dinner Dance,
This year’s gala will feature the music of the Buckinghams, presented by LaSalle Bank. The event is open to all alumni and friends of the college. There will also be a silent auction. Sun-Times columnist, and NIU alumnus, Mark Brown, will act as master of ceremonies for the evening.
All proceeds from this black-tie-optional event will go toward the club’s scholarship fund, which is intended to help the college attract exceptional students to its programs. The dinner is open to all alumni and friends of the NIU College of Business.
Founded in 1996, the NIU Executive Club is intended to foster a sense of community among alumni of the Northern Illinois University College of Business. It promotes business development for its members while working to enhance the public perception of the NIU College of Business.
In addition to its annual dinner dance, the club also hosts quarterly business-to-business networking breakfast meetings with speakers and bi-annual meetings featuring panel discussions on current topics of interest. The club also holds an annual golf outing and participates in homecoming activities at the university.
To obtain tickets to the dinner dance, to receive more information about the club or to inquire about membership, contact Sue Braffet at braffet@niu.edu, or by phone at (815) 753-1433.
