NIU hosts open house November 11
DeKalb – Northern Illinois University will hold an open house for prospective students, families and friends on Thursday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Holmes Student Center, Lucinda Avenue and Normal Road, DeKalb.
Visitors to the DeKalb campus will have an opportunity to meet representatives from admissions, the faculty, academic programs and student services. Financial aid representatives will also be on hand. Open house activities include a student-led campus bus tour, residence hall visits and a general information session.
Many of NIU's colleges and departments will be hosting individual open houses, including:
- College of Business
- College of Education
- College of Engineering and Engineering Technology
- College of Health and Human Sciences
- College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
- School of Art
- School of Music
- School of Nursing
- School of Theatre and Dance
- Cooperative Education/Internship Program
- Science Laboratory
- Student Recreation Center
No reservations are needed for the open house or any connected activities. Free parking will be provided at the Convocation Center with shuttle buses to the Holmes Student Center.
