NIU invites community
to Altgeld Hall open house
DeKalb — Northern Illinois University invites residents of surrounding communities to experience historic Altgeld Hall during a special open house scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10.
Reopened as a working building this fall, NIU’s first home had been closed for five years of loving restoration. The evening will feature musical entertainment and a dessert reception. Call (815) 753-1999 for more information.
