MEDIA ALERT:
NIU COMMENCEMENT – SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12

DE KALB – Approximately 1,500 students will graduate from Northern Illinois University in commencement exercises at the Convocation Center on NIU’s DeKalb campus Sunday, December 12.

There will be two ceremonies combining doctoral, masters and baccalaureate candidates for each of the colleges in the following schedule.

Live streamed video of the ceremonies will be provided online by NIU Media Services at http://www.media.niu.edu/ and VHS and DVD copies of the video can be ordered from the same site.

DECEMBER 12 NIU COMMENCEMENT SCHEDULE

Ceremony One – 9 a.m.

  • College of Health and Human Sciences
  • College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
  • College of Visual and Performing Arts

Ceremony Two – 2 p.m.

  • College of Business
  • College of Education
  • College of Engineering and Engineering Technology

Ceremonies which are cancelled due to severe weather will not be rescheduled.
