TCF Bank Account

Students, faculty, and staff who have an active NIU OneCard have the opportunity to set up a Campus Checking Account with TCF Bank, located inside of the Holmes Student Center. Link your NIU OneCard to your TCF Campus Checking Account so you can use it as your ATM and Debit Card.

If you would like to take advantage of this feature of your OneCard ID, contact the TCF Bank branch on campus at (815) 753-9212.

Details of using your OneCard ID as a TCF ATM/Debit card:

• Your NIU OneCard works as your ATM/Debit card when you say YES! to a Campus Card checking account with TCF Bank.
• When linked to your TCF checking account, your NIU OneCard will work on campus and off campus like a regular ATM/Debit Card.
• A security feature requires your ATM PIN to complete all electronic banking transactions.
• Your NIU OneCard will function across the entire United States wherever debit cards are accepted.
• Your NIU OneCard will work in ATM's across the United States.

Note:  Your TCF Bank Account is not the same as a Huskie Bucks Account, neither is it the same as a Housing and Dining Meal Plan. Although you can have all three accounts accessed by the same OneCard ID, the monies stay separated.
