IFMA's Facility Management Professional designation is a knowledge-based credential that helps accelerate a FM's transition into the profession and demonstrates a proven comprehension of the basics of facility management. The FMP program consists of four courses providing a robust platform for you to enhance and demonstrate your FM knowledge. Each course includes two days of classroom instruction, comprehensive print materials that may be used as a lasting desk reference, and required online exams. Earning the FMP will help you prepare for expanded leadership roles in your organization.
NIU provides the classroom environment you need to earn your FMP and accelerate your career. Our team of experienced CFM accredited, practitioner instructors bring practical real-world experience and examples to the classroom.
Other benefits include:
The FMP is a knowledge-based credential, which means you need to pass an online exam for each course in order to earn the FMP. There are no prerequisite experience and education requirements for enrolling in the program, however some working knowledge of the industry is recommended. To earn the FMP Credential you must complete four required courses and a corresponding 50-question online exam. Once you've passed all four exams with a score of at least 75%, you can submit your FMP application to IFMA. Visit www.ifma.org/fmp for more information.
With the help of our expert instructors and the comprehensive print materials, you will explore the topics deemed critical by employers and practitioners worldwide. Take any of the courses as a refresher or to gain knowledge in that competency area. It is not required to be a CFM or FMP candidate to participate in the courses.
