Outside of the classroom, my favorite thing at NIU that really enhances my experience here is … the Study Abroad Office. They have been extremely helpful in preparing me to go to Austria this upcoming semester!
If I was guaranteed success, I would … be a politician and be the voice for people who do not have one.
The one NIU experience I will always remember will be … being a community adviser and helping my residents achieve their goals!
The thing I like most about having my sister on campus is … because we live in southern Illinois, we don’t have the opportunity to see our family as much as other students. I can turn to my little sis when I’ve had a bad day or just want to go out to lunch and talk.
My favorite NIU activity to do with my sister is … going to lunch and catching up on our lives. It might be simple, but I enjoy it a lot!
My favorite NIU memory with my sister is …working together this summer for the summer conference staff.
One of the funniest experiences about having my sister here has been … Callie and I both took “Self-Improvement through Posture Education and Relaxation Techniques” with Mrs. Glenda Smith; however, we took different sections, so we didn’t know that we were taking the same class until spring break. We both talked about how much we enjoyed this class, and we told each other that we needed to take it. Finally, we realized that we had the same class!
I chose my major because … I want to go into the sports industry.
If I was guaranteed success, I would ... start an internet company like YouTube so I could be a 20-year-old billionaire!
After graduation, I plan to … go to graduate school in California so eventually I can work at the Gatorade Sports Science Institute conducting research.
The thing I like most about having my brother on campus is … I have someone nearby with whom I can discuss my love for St. Louis Cardinal culture. Also, I always have someone to call to complain about school to.
My favorite NIU memory with my brother is …when Andy helped me move out of my dorm room. He moved all of my stuff because I acted like I was all tired and could not carry it all. He was really sweating and I carried like one bag.
Ten years from now, I think my brother will be …doing great things. Andy will probably live in a different country, and he will be involved in politics. He will not get all wrapped up in the corrupt people that are sometimes involved in government, though; he will be an outstanding leader.
