The Financial Wellness Collaborative is excited to bring the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago's national Money Smart Week program to the DeKalb, LaSalle, and Lee County communities. This collaboration is bringing together many organizations across these three counties including businesses, financial institutions, schools, libraries, not-for-profits, government agencies, and the media.
Different collaborative representatives, coalition members, and members of the community will be presenting on different topics throughout the communities during the week of April 24-29th. ALL PROGRAMMING IS FREE and covers all facets of personal finance from establishing a budget to first time home buying, estate planning, couponing, and much more. Students, faculty, staff as well as community members are welcome to attend many of the sessions. Some events might be listed as private. These are sessions that are scheduled throughout April, as requested by the organization, and are not open to the public. If you are interested in having an industry professional present to your organization, please contact the Money Smart Week Steering Committee and we will be happy to assist you.
