A special election has been scheduled for the 14th Congressional District in Illinois for MARCH 8, 2008 to elect a replacement for Representative Dennis Hastert.
For nonregistered voters, the grace period for registering to vote has been extended to noon on Saturday, February 23, 2008. Registration must take place at a County Clerk’s Office. For DeKalb County, the office is located at 110 East Sycamore Street, Sycamore, Illinois, which is East of the DeKalb County Courthouse. Further information can be obtained by calling (815) 895-7147.
