Illinois Public University Faculty - NIU - Homeland Security

Illinois Public University Faculty

Foundations in Homeland Security and Disaster Preparedness, an interactive online course, is drawing enthusiastic reviews from students at NIU and WIU. The course provides a comprehensive overview of issues that threaten public safety and commerce, including natural disasters, human made disasters, terrorism, and business interruption. Appropriate for a wide range of disciplines and online course management systems, foundations course materials are available to faculty members teaching homeland security courses at Illinois public universities at no charge during the 2007 pilot year.

To obtain a DVD containing all instructional materials for Foundations in Homeland Security and Disaster Preparedness, faculty members should complete the Course Request Form. If you need more information, email universityoutreach@niu.edu, or call Mary Mickey (866, 855, 1239).
