Food Allergy Club
This is a new group that is forming on campus for people who have food allergies and people who are interested in helping others with food allergies. The group is in the process of becoming an official NIU Organization. Their plan is to have weekly or bi-weekly informal discussion session where you can meet other people who are also trying to navigate the dining halls for allergen-free foods and discuss strategies for finding a variety of foods that can fit into your allergen-free diet. In addition, the club would like to do campus awareness projects, cooking classes, and group trips to allergen-free restaurants.
