NIU ACT Test Prep

The Northern Illinois University ACT Test Prep program promotes individualized attention in a small classroom setting and offers students a chance to best prepare themselves for the ACT test.

Program covers English, Math, Reading and Science Reasoning.

ACT Test Prep Fall Session I

Location: Graham Hall, Room 332

Parking: Parking is free on Saturdays

Time: Saturdays, 1-4:30 p.m.

September 19 - Pre-test
September 26 - English
October 3 - Reading and Science Reasoning
October 17 - Math
November 8 - Post-test

 

ACT Test Prep Fall Session II

Location: Graham Hall, Room 332

Parking: Parking is free on Sundays

Time: Sundays, 1-4:30 p.m.

September 20 - Pre-test
September 27 - English
October 4 - Reading and Science Reasoning
October 18 - Math
November 8 - Post-test

Cost: $275 ($250 if registered at least one week in advance) which includes instruction, comprehensive workbook, practice CD-ROM, and several retired ACT tests (it does not include registration to take the actual ACT test.)

The ACT includes 215 multiple-choice questions and takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete with breaks. Actual testing time is 2 hours and 55 minutes.
