Take your knowledge and advocacy skills to the next level!
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, and Ally identified high school students who want to build and expand their LGBTQA advocacy skills in their schools and beyond will learn from the best NIU has to offer! With a curriculum that combines a foundation of history, legal rights, and practical skills to be a leader, this camp will provide NIU faculty guidance and staff and student perspectives on becoming more active in the movement towards equality. Learn how to start at home by building skills to start a Gay/Straight Alliance, or to improve an existing one.

Summer Camp Fees: Residential campers $525 ($575 after June 14, 2013); returning LA&S Academic Summer campers, multiple campers from the same household, or NIU employees are eligible for an additional $25 discount on request.
