NIU College of Engineering and Engineering Technology students are working to get rid of that annoying vibration in your car.
Students Deepak Malogi and Ashwini Pothula recently represented NIU CEET at the Society of Automobile Engineers Noise and Vibration Conference and Exhibition in St. Charles Illinois May 19-21.
Both students presented posters at the conference, and were recognized for their efforts.
Malogi's poster, "Damping Estimation" won the coveted First Place prize in the Student Poster Competition. Pothula's poster, "Accelerated Life Testing" took home Second Place. Both won certificates and cash prizes, and were also recognized at the Keynote luncheon.
Both are graduate students working with CEET Professor Dr. Abhijit Gupta on vibration and acoustic related projects.
