The paper titled "Investigation of Absorptivity for Fiber Laser Assisted Machining of Silicone Nitride" was accepted to present at the Materials Science & Technology Conference (MS&T) held on October 5-9, 2008 in Pittsburg, PA. The conference had over 4,000 attendees. The paper was accepted in the Track of "Processing & Product Manufacturing." This annual conference is sponsored by four major materials professional society's in the United States. They include: 1)Mineral Metals and Materials Society (TMS), 2) The Materials Information Society (ASM) , 3) Association for Iron & Steel Technology(AIST) , and 4) American Ceramics Society (ACerS).
