Todd Burns has been in the field of development for nine years.  He has been at Northern Illinois University since 2011 and serves as the Director of Major Gifts for the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology.  As the Director of Major Gifts, he assists alumni, industry and friends of the University to align their philanthropic interests to the needs of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology.  He has been involved extensively with increasing the college scholarship fund, laboratory and facilities modifications and faculty and student development projects.
