B.S. in Electrical Engineering
In the Electrical Engineering Program you will learn how to design, develop and apply systems and devices that generate and operate on electrical energy. Your learning won’t just happen in the classroom though. We have 11 electrical engineering laboratories so you can truly immerse yourself and gain invaluable hands-on experience. The field is extensive and the demand is high for electrical engineers; you’ll have opportunities in aerospace, healthcare, computers, manufacturing, automotive sectors and countless other industries.
Biomedical Engineering Emphasis
If you’re on a pre-professional track and planning to attend medical school, you can specialize in biomedical engineering. In addition to your engineering curriculum, you’ll take chemistry and biology courses to gain the skills and unique knowledge needed to improve the quality of patient care and treatment.
We offer two tracks within this emphasis: biomedical engineering and pre-professional. The first track prepares you to work as a biomedical engineer where you can do anything from developing medical devices to refining rehabilitating prosthesis. The second track is designed for those of you planning to attend medical school and practice as medical professionals.
