Thursday, August 20, 2009 is Fall 2009 Move-In Day for all new NIU students. Over 3,500 new students are expected to move into the residence halls between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM that day.
Although the Office of Admissions will be open, it is recommended that prospective students and their families select an alternate day to visit the campus. Students and families who choose to visit campus on August 20 will be required to follow the traffic patterns established for Move-In Day and should expect significant delays.
The parking lot and the admissions office at the Barsema Alumni and Visitor Center will be closed on August 20, 2009. Please park in the Visitor’s Parking Lot (201 Carroll Avenue) located in central campus and go to the Office of Admissions in Williston Hall.
