Khanisha Moore
Greetings to all! As an Admission Counselor, it is my pleasure to promote the NIU community, and share my experience with students and parents. My undergraduate experience with the university began in 1999 as a freshman. I’m currently pursuing a Masters degree in Adult and Higher Education to further my career, and continue to assist students to succeed at the collegiate level. Outside of work, I love to spend time with friends and family, watch scary movies, and be involved with an elite organization, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
During my travel season, I most frequently visit high schools located in the south suburbs of Chicago. Some of these schools include Bloom Trail, Rich South, Thornwood, and Crete Monee. However, I do travel to schools located in the western suburbs including Proviso East, St. Joseph and Oak Park River Forest. I provide valuable information to students regarding admission criteria, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities. I also encourage you all to take advantage of visiting our campus, becoming familiar with our website, and becoming a future Huskie!
