Tam has been actively involved with the Vietnamese Student Association since she first came to NIU.  She is currently the vice president for VSA.  She used to sing in choir and worked with the youth group at her church.  She loves to spend time with friends and family, and enjoys watching animations and dramas.  She is trying to pursue a teaching degree after she graduates from NIU, and is also getting a masters degree in the years to come.  She has traveled a lot since she was young, and it is her dream to go back to Vietnam and learn about her identity.  She also loves to travel to other places and learn the history.
