Lora is a December 2005 graduate of NIU.  During her college years, she was involved with the Philippine Student Association, the Asian American Association, and was a student employee at Career Services.  Her experience at Career Services was a positive one, because it allowed her to prepare for life after graduation, which she encourages all current students to do early in their college years.  Her plans for the future involve moving back to her home town of Chicago where she looks to begin her career in the hospitality industry, and eventually traveling back to the Philippines, as well as to Europe and Dubai.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her family and close friends.
