Joelouie Genus (Jolien)  graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a bachelor in art, community studies,and environmental studies, with honors in community studies. He is a member of the National Honors Society. Currently he is a first year graduate student in the MFA program. His focus in art is painting, but not limited to making other types art. He is currently the marketting intern for the Asian American Center, and is a free lance graphic designer.
