Cam-Tu is currently an intern for the Outreach program at the Asian American Center. She is actively involved in Minorities Inspiring Teachers Education, serving as a president. Cam-Tu serves as public relation for Vietnamese Student Association as well as member of Student Education Association and Asian American Association. She is also involved with volunteering services and Newman Catholic Church, Illinois Vietnamese Student Union, and various organizations. Academically, she is a Golden Apple Scholars and is also involved in the Honors Program at Northern. Tu’s soon-to-be career is an elementary educator and to travel back to her homeland, Vietnam, every summer to teach English to children.
