Leadership Series Fall 2005 Thursdays, 7:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.
A new series focusing on “lessons” in Leadership!
This “Leadership Series” will help emerging leaders learn key lessons about getting involved, maximizing your resources, managing your time, and discovering your leadership potential! Selected scenes from the popular “Lord of the Rings” trilogy will be used to illustrate leadership lessons for further discussion!
Thursday, September 15: L-1 “Getting Involved!” (Free Food!)
Did you ever have so many options it was difficult to know where to get involved? Learn to discern how (and where!) to invest yourself! Lower Level, Asian American Center, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday, October 13: L-2 “Utilizing What You Already Possess!” (Free Food!)
Use your “hidden” talents, skills, and resources to empower yourself and others! Lower Level, Asian American Center, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday, November 10: L-3 “Managing Your Time!” (Free Food!)
On any given day, many good things tug at your time. It’s time to discern between “good,” “better,” and “best!” Prioritize your time and accomplish that which is most important with the time you have at the time you have it!! Lower Level, Asian American Center, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday, December 1: L-4 “Taking the Next Step” (Free Food!)
Set your sights on what your next steps in leadership will be! Learn the value of setting goals as a means towards success! Lower Level, Asian American Center, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
